Introduction
Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a faculty in Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It aims to train students with knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences and help them become leaders in teaching, research, drug development, and clinical practice. Through its various research centers or laboratories, the faculty also conducts world-class research in pharmaceutical sciences and related biomedical disciplines.
Pharmaceutical Sciences are key disciplines connecting natural sciences and clinical medicine. Focusing on major challenges of the society related to health and diseases, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is committed to train highly motivated young students with international vision, comprehensive literacy, and a passion for innovation. Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences will award degrees of Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, Doctor of Pharmacy, and Doctor of Philosophy.
Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at SIAT has been proposed to set up four departments, including Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Engineering , Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Pharmacology, and Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Medicine .
